I forgot how weird The Cat Returns is! I treasure your stories, but they're right, and you're right that your backstories are a teeny tiny but angst-ridden. I had never thought that before. Maybe when you were a tiny baby, a cat from a cat kingdom put an angst-ridden backstory curse on you??
