less than/greater than
a week away from A Novel Love Story and I'm more overcome with emotion than I originally anticipated
Update: tummy still hurts, anxiety is high, and I am pounding back citrus green teas like it’s my business.
The closer it gets to the release date for A Novel Love Story, the less I have to say. Or, I think, the more my brain just wants to shut down and my body wants to mainline Peter Pan crunchy peanut butter.
Books are arriving at bookstores, my IG feed is slowly shifting over from readers tagging me in The Seven Year Slip to tagging me in A Novel Love Story, and I’m packing my suitcase for tour.
So, instead of waxing poetic about how every book is both a challenge and a joy to write, and how I would never be here without every one of you—
Those are things you already know.
And besides!! I’m having a great eyeliner day, and I don’t want to ruin it by writing something sappy.
(I’ll save that for next week.)
